Internationalization and Covid-19

Internationalization and Covid-19: If there is something that has caught us all by surprise, it has been the Covid-19. No one could imagine just a few weeks ago how our lives were to change imminently and radically. Those of us who work with international trade consider how to minimize the impact of this situation for all our clients.

At Alfombra Roja we continue working, from home, according to the restrictions imposed by the different governments, for the good of all. The projects continue, we continue with the organization of trade missions that move to September, October and November.

But also many clients have opted not to postpone their introduction projects in the Spanish or Nordic market and we will carry out virtual agendas, market surveys, search for an importer and a distributor, this spring until travel is restored.

Fortunately, telecommuting and exporting are still possible today thanks to the technology at our disposal.

Our favorite tools

ZoomSkypeTrello (productivity tool to organize and share projects), Evernote (fantastic application for taking notes, ideas, projects or to-do lists), Hootsuite (platform to monitor your social networks, analyze and measure) or the platforms of messaging like Hangouts o WhatsApp for Business can be very useful so that your day-to-day and business relationships do not stop at the moment.

And remember that, if you are working from home, it is important to exercise, monitor posture in front of the computer: how we place our back, neck or legs; get up every half hour and take advantage of that moment to call a family member or friend and thus avoid the feeling of isolation; and maintain an adequate diet for calorie consumption.

Stay home, stay safe!
